The Gulf Coatings Show Conference is again a highlight at the Gulf Coatings Show 2023. It will be opened on the 9th of October with two relevant keynote presentations. Andre van Linden from AkzoNobel will be giving a speech about “The inherent and empowering relationship between coatings and sustainability” and thus meets the spirit of the times. The second keynote speaker is Sam Morell, who will be talking about “The Role of ABA Surfactants in Waterborne Formulations”. Future topics just as sustainability, artificial intelligence, automation, and digitalisations dominate this scientific gathering of experts from around the world. Two days filled with several high-quality, scientific presentations on relevant coating topics are waiting for all participants from the coating’s community.
Short Courses
Direct exchange and in-depth knowledge transfer
Another highlight are the Short Courses, which offer basic knowledge on different relevant coatings topics. Topics, such as titanium dioxide, rheology, colouristic, functional coatings, and more will be discussed in 90 minutes lectures with experts from industry and research institutes. The attendance of these events is free of charge and addresses both beginners in the respective field as well as career changers and is also suitable for refreshing already existing knowledge.

The extreme dynamic of construction in the United Arab Emirates requires visionary building methods. The old „bag by bag“ approach is obsolete and professional workforce is scarce.
